Rabdan Academy and Remaya International sign MOU for training services

Rabdan Academy and Remaya International , have signed a Memorandum of Understanding, whereby Remaya International will provide internationally-recognized, accredited and certified firearms training to students of the academy.

Rabdan Academy is the UAE’s first dual sector institution and is focused on the safety, security, emergency preparedness and crisis management (SSEC) sectors providing not only vocational education but also higher education as it is fully licensed and accredited through the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

A subsidiary of Tawazun Holding, Remaya International LLC is the only service provider for shooting and tactical related courses for Police, GHQ and Special Forces in the Middle East which is accrediting the students with an international recognized Firearm Training Certificate upon their successful completion of the relevant course.

Under the MOU, Remaya International will provide basic and professional training for Rabdan Academy students on various subjects including basic, tactical and SWAT shooting, and professional shooting instructor courses.

The MOU was signed today at the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX) by Dr Faisal Obaid Al Ayyan, Executive Vice President of Rabdan Academy and Matar Ali Romaithi, Chairman of Remaya.

Following the signing, Dr Al Ayyan said: “This MOU with Remaya International will be typical in providing world-class training and education opportunities and pathways for Rabdan Academy students. Such collaborations will provide Rabdan Academy students with the very best training and education experiences and will inherently add to the UAE’s National resilience.”

Al Romaithi said the MOU fits strategies and values of both Rabdan Academy and Remaya International .
“We are pleased to collaborate with Rabdan Academy in providing excellent educational and training standards and helping to prepare a highly qualified, empowered, and self-reliant generation of firearms professionals,” added Al Romaithi.
