Tawazun Industrial Park serves as a specialized industrial zone focused on the defense, security, and aviation sectors. It is designed to support defense manufacturing, dual-use technologies and features integrated infrastructure, with the goal of promoting local products and the “Make It in the Emirates” initiative.
Testing & Qualification
Tawazun Quality and Conformity provides testing, qualification and quality for defense products entering service with the UAE Ministry of Defense.
It is dedicated to ensuring that every piece of equipment, from advanced weapon systems to essential support gear, meets the highest standards of safety, reliability, quality, and performance.
Classification & Consulting for Safety & Quality Assurance
In 2012, Emirates Classification Society (Tasneef) was created as the First Arab Classification Society, specialized in inspection,audit and certification.
“Tasneef” focuses on meeting its customers’ needs by enhancing quality of business, promoting safety of life and property, and preserving the natural environment.
Talent Catalyst
Tawazun Council is committed to empowering Emirati talent by adopting approaches that are commensurate with the military and security vocational training outcomes to meet the defense industry needs. The Council also focuses on equipping UAE nationals with the advanced skills and expertise essential for success for this dynamic industry in alignment with the “We the UAE 2031” vision.
